Our Ministries

Children's Ministry

Praise Kids is an engaging children’s worship program for ages 3 to Kindergarten graduation. Held during Worship at Trinity, children follow the leader to the Fellowship Hall for a time of purposeful, fun-filled worship including games, Scripture memorization, offering, prayer, and more!

Please place an information sticker, available in the pew racks, before sending your child to Praise Kids. That way we can find you if we need you!

Do you know someone age 4 to 5th grade? If so, we’ve got a program just for them! Join us Sunday nights during the school year in the Fellowship Hall from 5-6:30pm for GodSquad.
GodSquad is an exciting Sunday night children’s ministry that offers children a chance to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, develop/discover their talents, and share their faith & talents with the community!
VBS offers a meaningful, action-packed opportunity to learn about our amazing God!
Save the date for June 11-14!

Youth Ministry

Our youth group, Abide, meets on Sunday nights from 5:00-7:00pm in the Youth Building at Trinity. We think what is most important can be summed up like this: Love God. Love Others. Love Self. Our students and volunteers are trying to live in way that honors God through worship, abiding in Him, and making disciples of others. Abide is for 6th-12th grade students.

If you are looking for permission forms, event notifications, a youth specific calendar, or other more specific information about Abide please visit our website www.abideyouth.com

Adult Ministry

We offer many different opportunities to get involved at Trinity. We offer small groups, Bible studies, Sunday school classes, book clubs, music ministry, men’s and women’s groups, mission projects, and many more activities.

Trinity has a variety of activities for Older Adults, and we invite you to come join us for fun, fellowship, education, and service. New people are not only welcome, but we want to meet you and have you try some of our groups to see which ones you like. We have regularly scheduled groups for exercise, bridge, choir, and a monthly meal together with a meaningful and entertaining program. We also take day or overnight trips from time to time. We are always looking for new ideas and suggestions. The regularly scheduled groups are for both men and women and include the following:

Hillclimbers–a group that meets the 1st Tuesday of the month (September through May) at 11:00am in the Youth Building. We share a catered meal at a reasonable price, and have programs on many different topics and enjoy fellowship together. Reservations are needed, call the church office 803-786-1637.

Get Fit–an energetic exercise group that works on low-impact cardio, balance, and muscle strength for persons of all different abilities. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-10:00am in the Christian Life Center gym. Wear comfortable clothing and come get healthy with us!

OASIS (Older Adults Sharing in Song) – a choir that sings at local retirement and nursing homes and other events. They practice every Wednesday in the choir room.

Bridge-This group is now meeting every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. If you want to learn to play or haven't played in a long time, come and they will help you get up to speed.

Service opportunities are almost endless since Trinity is such a mission-minded church. Our care for others is shown by serving on Prayer Chain, Visitation Team, Sew Much Love (making prayer shawls, baby items, and bread basket liners), Stephen Ministry, Loveline, and many other ministries. We serve the community of Blythewood, not just our own members.

If you have questions or want to know more, please contact Rev. Chrisie, Associate Pastor for Congregational Care and Older Adults at the church 803-786-1637, ext 18.
